Let The Rest Go does not collect any personal data. We never see what you write. The app stores your items on your device, and — if you turn on iCloud Sync — in your own iCloud account.
None. Let The Rest Go does not collect any personal information, usage data, or analytics. There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no tracking.
All data you create in Let The Rest Go — your focus items, your Next Up bench and your completed archive — is stored locally on your device using iOS's built-in storage. It is included in your iCloud backup if you have device backups enabled.
Let The Rest Go offers an optional iCloud Sync feature that keeps your items in sync across your own Apple devices. When enabled:
You can turn iCloud Sync on or off at any time from the menu in the archive view. Disabling sync does not delete any data.
Let The Rest Go does not use any third-party services, analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind. The only network connection the app makes is to Apple's iCloud, and only when iCloud Sync is enabled.
Let The Rest Go does not require an internet connection to use. With iCloud Sync turned off, the app makes no network connections at all. With it turned on, the app connects only to Apple's iCloud to sync your own data between your own devices.
Let The Rest Go includes home screen widgets that display your current focus item. Widget data is shared between the app and widget using a secure App Group container on your device. This data remains entirely local.
Let The Rest Go does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
If we ever change our privacy practices, we will update this page. Since Let The Rest Go doesn't collect data, we don't anticipate any changes.
